SportIndoor (coordinator)

Italy

SportIndoor, a wellness centre founded in 2019, is dedicated to improving quality of life through consistent physical activity. Their multidisciplinary approach includes sports programmes, wellness initiatives, rehabilitation and more. With a team of over 50 employees, including doctors, physiotherapists and trainers, SportIndoor welcomes over 2500 people every week. The company is actively involved in local collaborations and has initiated programmes for people with autism spectrum disorders, such as special swimming and golf programmes. As lead partner of the EU SportIncludes project, SportIndoor will test innovative programmes and make an important contribution to the success of the project with its expertise and network.

Open Europe

Spain

OpenEurope, a non-profit organisation based in Reus, Spain, focuses on education and training opportunities for young people and adults. With a network of over 2100 individual members, 30 schools and 8 non-governmental organisations, OpenEurope promotes European mobility and lifelong learning. Its extensive experience includes the coordination of internships, apprenticeships and mobility programmes for vocational students. In the field of sport, OpenEurope organises training courses, competitions and activities to promote a healthy lifestyle. Of particular note is the commitment to inclusion, exemplified by the “Together we Can” training programme, which focuses on the integration of learners with special needs. As part of the EU SportIncludes project, OpenEurope will share its expertise on working with marginalised groups and gain insights from SportIndoor to enhance its capabilities, particularly in the area of autism spectrum disorders.
