Open Europe and supera’t Launch Collaboration to Promote Inclusion through Sport

The NGO Open Europe and the association Supera’t initiated a formal collaboration in October 2023 to promote inclusion and emotional well-being for young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through sport. This partnership marks the beginning of Open Europe’s participation in the EUSPORTINCLUDES project in Spain.
The two entities joined forces to develop inclusive sports programs that leverage the power of physical activity to enhance emotional health, social skills, and self-esteem. The sessions, hosted at Espai Boule, focused on adaptive sports suitable for neurodivergent children and adolescents.
The partnership also emphasized training and awareness-raising among educators and families to ensure a holistic approach to inclusion that goes beyond the sports field.
